GreenHome a finalist for EnergyValue Housing Awards

For its Mainstream GreenHome, Cherokee is among thirteen builders selected as finalists for the NAHB Research Center's 2008 EnergyValue Housing Awards (EVHA). The EVHA are presented each year to home builders across the country that voluntarily team energy efficiency and environmental stewardship; incorporating elements of each into the design, construction, and marketing of new homes.

The EVHA is coordinated by the NAHB Research Center in partnership with the U.S. Department of Energy through the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).

EVHA winners will be unveiled on Feb. 13 during the National Association of Home Builders 2008 International Builders' Show (IBS) in Orlando, Fla.
