Cherokee Builds Concept Home Loaded with Green Features

DENVER, March 28, 2007 – Cherokee Investment Partners, LLC, a brownfield development company (http://www.cherokeefund.com/) is building a concept green home near its headquarters in Raleigh, North Carolina. The home was the focus of a session Tuesday at the National Association of Home Builders’ Green Building Conference in St. Louis.

Cherokee has a Colorado connection because the company is cleaning up and redeveloping the 50-acre brownfield site of the old Gates rubber factory at Interstate 25 and Broadway in Denver. A brownfield is an unused, environmentally polluted property.
